I promised to show you the little Ann sampler I finished in september : here it is completed...
Brodé sur lin Zweigart avec des cotons dégradés (au hasard de mes tiroirs, mais en conservant l'harmonie d'ensemble). La petite Ann a brodé ce sampler à l'âge de cinq ans et demi, épatant, non ?
It's stitched on Zweigart linen with variegated threads (those I had, but according to the chart). The little girl stitched the original sampler at the age of 5 years and 6 months, isn't that amazing ?
Elle en a profité pour s'entraîner aux points spéciaux...
Ann practised special stitches...
Et elle a fait courir une jolie grecque tout autour.
And she added a nice greek border all around.
Ce charmant sampler est destiné à mon salon, quand j'aurai eu le temps d'aller chez l'encadreur.
I'll hang this new sampler in my living-room, when I have time to go to the framer shop.
