Où l'on reparle du SALpin
Ca fait un certain temps que mon vieux projet de SALpin est en plan (je l'ai imaginé en 2007... j'ai quand même pas mal travaillé !) J'ai plein de bricoles brodées qui attendent leur finition, mais j'ai envie de diversifier un peu ma production et de réaliser d'autres objets que des petites suspensions. Et aussi de changer de matières... tissus et lainages donnent tellement de possibilités !
Voici donc mon SALpin de janvier (fait depuis un moment, mais photo très en retard) : un petit napperon orné de feuilles de houx, tout doux, pour protéger mon meuble de la chaleur de la bougie. Réalisé en lainage vert sapin dessus et dessous (Toto, de super qualité) et en feutrine de laine.
It's been a very long time since I finished something for my old SALpin project (I organized it in 2007... I did a good production all the same !). I have many stitched ornaments, but I want to diversify and to work with fabrics and wools instead.
So, here's my project for january (I finished it quite a long time ago, but I took the photo recently) : a woolen mat with holly, to protect furnitures from the heat of the candle.
Ce modèle est une adaptation perso d'un napperon identique vu sur un blog américain (dont j'ai hélas perdu le nom...si ça vous dit quelque chose, renseignez-moi, je mettrai le lien). Un cercle dessiné au compas, des feuilles de houx dessinées à la main, de la Lana d'Aurifil pour festonner tout ça, et hop, le tour est joué.
This mat is a personal adaptation of the same one seen on an american blog (whose link I unfornately lost... please, if you know where I saw it, give me the link and I'll add it to my post). I drew a circle with my compass, hand-drew the holly leaves, used Lana by Aurifil thread, and here it is .
Le SALpin de février est fini mais pas photographié, ceux de mars et avril sont en chantier... croyez-vous que douze réalisations seront finies d'ici décembre ?
My SALpin february ornament is finished but not taken in photo yet, those for march and april are in progress... do you think that I'll manage to complete twelve ornaments before december ?
